Who We Are
Learning Days was founded 26 years ago at the residence of Charles and Shiketa Morgan in Ferguson, Missouri. This vision came to fruition in March 2021 with the opening of our facility in Kennesaw, Georgia, as part of our strategic plan to expand Learning Days into the surrounding Atlanta communities.
The Morgans relocated to Georgia on October 5, 2018, to further develop Learning Days, building on their successful management of multiple facilities in St. Louis over the past 24 years. The concept of family holds significant importance to the Morgans; therefore, we are steadfast in our commitment to creating an environment at Learning Days that reflects this core value. Our primary objective is to provide a high-quality childcare service that parents can trust and take pride in selecting for their children.
Along with being Business partners, we have been married 30 years, we are parents and proud grandparents. We are members of Word of faith Church where our Pastor is Bishop Dale Bronner.
Mrs. Morgan, also known as Dr. Morgan, serves as the Executive Director of Learning Days, acting as the Chief Financial and Business Management Officer alongside our esteemed Center Director, Ms. Michelle Provost. Mrs. Morgan received her early childhood education credential in 2002 from Florissant Valley Community College in St. Louis, Missouri. She also holds a Business Arts Degree from the University of Phoenix and was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism by the Global International Alliance on June 21, 2024, at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, she is a business mentor and author.
Mr. Morgan serves as the Facilities Manager, responsible for overseeing maintenance, working with contractors and landscaping, drawing upon over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial remodeling. His responsibilities also include transportation management, as he holds CPR and First Aid certifications and has completed all necessary licensing training for ownership. We are actively engaged in the daily operations of the facility and are dedicated to promoting a collaborative work environment alongside our committed team.
